Big Boy Bath

Zack had his first big boy bath this morning, that means he is now sitting in the tub instead of laying down. I had the shower head down so he could play with the water and all he wanted to do was drink it.

I did get a couple of quick pictures. Can't leave them babies alone in the tub ya know

The big update!

So here is the big update that I promised yesterday.

Let's see, where to start..

Friday night was Wyatt's School's K-2 musical. Lucy was with her Grandma, so Mark, Zack and I went. It was a cute program with lots of singing. Wyatt had 1 speaking part and I am working on getting the video uploaded so you can see it.

When we got home from the musical Wyatt was complaining about his loose tooth, so Mark stuck his hand in there and yanked it out! Just like that! Wyatt was so excited that he ran to me showing me the new hole in his mouth and his little baby tooth. The tooth fairy brought him $4 for the very first tooth, he thought that was pretty cool

Friday night I became sick, felt like the flu. Ugh. Woke up Saturday morning feeling like junk, but it was Wyatt's birthday party, so I had to get up and get going. We had the party at Wooddale Fun Zone, it's a skating rink, play area and arcade all in one. No one went skating, but they did do the arcade and play area. We had 12 kids that came so we were very busy watching everyone! Wyatt had a great time and got lots of great gifts! Thanks to Linny and Chelsea for helping us out!

The rest of the weekend was all spent at home due to Lucy, Zack and I being sick.

Mark stayed home on Monday and took Lucy and Zack to the doctor, Lucy has a double ear infection and Zack is fine. On Monday I thought I woulc check Zack's tooth out and turns out the other bottom one came in! Go Zack!

Tuesday morning Lucy woke up and told me her ear was wet, I checked it out and her eardrum had ruptured. Poor girl, there was blood and pus all over. So we had to call the doctor back and get more drops for her ears to protect from infection.

So that has been our week so far. As I type this Wyatt is sick on the couch, looks like our colds got him too. Poor guy, he is missing his first day of school this year today.

Here are a few pics that I have been meaning to post

Zack fell asleep on the changing table, we were just about to change his diaper

It's not fun at all. I was down for 4 days. In those 4 days we had a lot happen, which I will go into more detail about tomorrow.

So here are some highlights: Zack got his 2nd tooth in, Wyatt lost his 1st tooth, We had Wyatt's 6th Birthday party, Lucy ruptured her eardrum and Zack is sitting up on his own.

Bet you can't wait to read tomorrow's post now can you?

Happy Easter and Happy Birthday Wyatt!

We had a busy Easter weekend, we hope yours was fun!

Saturday we went out to Mark's Grandparents farm and had dinner, it was great catching up with everyone! The kids ate, which is huge because they are both so picky when it comes to food. I did have peanut butter sandwichs hidden away just in case. You never know and the kids can't go hungry. :)

Sunday we had church with mom and all my sisters and their families. It was so cool to see all the kids there, in total my mom has 7 grandkids and there was a lot of baby passing as my one sister has a 10 week old and my other sister has a 5 week old, then of course Zack.

After church we came back to our house and had an Easter egg hunt for the 4 older kids, I think they had fun!

We all then headed to my aunt's house for brunch. That was our Easter!

Yesterday was Wyatt's 6th birthday, he was SO excited! He had a great day, cinnamon rolls for breakfast, pizza for lunch and dinner and lots of phone calls from family members. His party is this Saturday and he can't wait to play with all of his friends.

OH OH and other big news! Zack's bottom tooth popped on Saturday! We were over at Em's house and for giggles I stuck my finger in his mouth to see and there is was! Yay Zack!!!

So here is a picture overload from the weekend

Game on!

Finally after the week that would never end we are back to our regular selves. Healthy and all!

Easter and Wyatt's birthday are fast approaching and both kids are very excited about the up coming 2 weeks.

I took Wyatt shopping with me yesterday and left the 2 little kids at home with Mark. I guess Wyatt really didn't want to go, but I made him. Who doesn't like getting new clothes? Wyatt I guess. He complained the entire time we were shopping. I had to bribe him with a new pair of sunglasses to get him to settle down and just let me look at clothes! I mean these clothes were for him and the other kids, not me!

So here are the glasses he picked out all by himself. He has quite the fashion sense don't you think?

Poor Wyatt

Wyatt came down with food poisoning! On Monday he was laying on the couch and it just hit, throw up all over and it's been a mess since then. We don't know what he ate, we have it narrowed down to two different items, but are having a hard time with picking what did it.

So he has been laid up on the couch since Monday afternoon, even now Thursday morning he is still sick, the throwing up part has stopped, but it's coming out other places if you know what I mean. We are doing our best to keep him hydrated and such, so far today he has been able to eat a poptart and drink lots of water, and as I type this he is singing the theme song to Handy Manny. So things are looking up, finally!

We were supposed to take him to Mall of America tomorrow to celebrate his birthday but we have to cancel, I fear he is too weak to go on all those rides. Poor guy!

Here is a pic of Mr. Chubby all happy chewing on his hands.
