Thumb Sucking

I caught Zack sucking his thumb this morning and had to take a picture. I heard him sucking away and went to look to see what he was sucking on and sure enough it was his thumb. Of course as soon as I brought the camera out he got the huge eyes and just stopped and stared, but you get the idea.

So I went and got the little guy a bottle

And after 5 minutes he was out

I wish my meals were like that!

Can you put this on my list for Santa?

Mark and I are hearing this sentence about 20 times a day:

Can you put this on my list for santa?

Wyatt and Lucy have realized that Christmas is upon us and know that santa brings all sorts of goodies for them. So every commercial they see, they ask us to put something on their list. Every magazine that comes in the mail they have to search through to make sure there are no toys they are missing. When the Sunday paper comes they rush to find the Toys R Us ad to see if there is anything new.

At 5 and 3 they are pretty smart cookies when it comes to finding things they want to add to their list. I would say they each have a least a full page and I am sure it will continue to grow as more and more toy commericals come on tv.

Wyatt is even helping find toys for Zack. How do you tell a 5 year old that a 6 week old doesn't need much of anything? You can't, so I just let him list stuff for Zacky too.

I was goofing around with my camera this past weekend and got a cute shot of the diva

She sure doesn't look like a 3 year old does she?

For Everett

From a friend I found this site that write's your angel children's names in the sand with a beautiful sunset/sunrise. It's done by a family in Australia. I don't have any pictures of Everett, besides his ultrasound pictures, so I wanted something to "show" him. I requested his name and they did it for me last week. Here is the picture:

A huge thank you to Names in the sand

You put a huge smile on my face

Mr. Wyatt's Neighborhood?

It's getting cold here in MN, so Wyatt has to start wearing long sleeves to school. We have a few long sleeved shirts, and I also bought him this sweater. Can you guess what he would rather wear?

Isn't he just the cutest? He looks like he could be Mr. Rogers sidekick or something. Mark asked me what I was doing to him, as in why was I making him wear that, I said I am not making him, he is simply choosing to wear it instead of his long sleeved shirts. I got the eye roll from Mark. lol

Lucy saw that Wyatt was having his picture taken so of course she had to show off her new winter jacket:

Please excuse her hair, we are growing her bangs out and 99% of the time she will not let me put a headband in, so she almost always looks homeless.

Zack or Zacky as Lucy calls him is doing great. He has a cold, a small one, and he is getting over it. I am getting smiles almost daily now, but when I try to get the camera out to take a picture to show everyone, he gets mesmerized by it and the smile is gone and he stares and stares at the camera. I was able to get a partial smile yesterday before the gaze took over lol

As I am typing this he is making all sorts of cute baby noises, dreaming away. Gosh he melts my heart!

Zack's Baptism

We had Zack baptized yesterday at our church. My mom and Mark's mom were our sponsers for Zack. It was a beautiful service and I am glad we got it done. I like doing all the kids within a month of them being born so this was no exception.

Here are some pictures from yesterday:

Zack is 1 month old!

So out little guy Zacky is one month old today! I can't believe it's already been a month! He is smiling, staying awake longer and making cute cooing noises. I thought it would be fun to take pictures throughout the day to see what Zack's day is like, so here you go!

Taking his morning 3 hour nap, notice that he kicked him sock off, he does this all the time.

Waking up from his morning nap, time for a diaper change!

Having some tummy time fun with mommy:

Dad's home! Time to hang out!

After dinner bonding with daddy, Zack loves to look at black and white items, so Mark found a cool website for him:

Finally before bed some bonding time with Wyatt and Lucy

Did you vote?

I hope you all voted! Mark and I went this morning with Lucy and Zack. Lucy didn't not quite get what was going on, when I told her we were going to go vote, she thought I said boat, so when we got there she asked where the life jackets and fish were. How cute!

Things are going well here, we have a great schedule with Zack and it seems to all be fitting into place. He is such an easy laid back baby, he just goes with the flow and not too much makes him upset.

I think we are starting to see the first attempts at a smile. Zack is now awake about 2 hours straight 2-3 times a day. So after he has eaten I have the kids come sing and talk to him, Zack loves the eye contact and will move his eyes and follow their voices. Then I talk to him in the happy mommy voice and we just stare at each other and his mouth starts to do the up-turn to a smile. So I think we are close! Lucy first smiled at 4 weeks, Wyatt at 5.

Here are some more random pictures from the past few days.

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had a good Halloween!

Wyatt and Lucy had a blast the entire day! They were both so excited, not so much about the candy, but getting to wear their costumes and getting to show them off.

We started decorating the yard when Wyatt got home from school. We usually try to do a fog machine, candle lit bags up the driveway and our pumpkins. I had a few other things that lit up, and we put those together. We ate some dinner and pretty soon after that the trick o treaters started coming to the door!

Lucy was so excited to have the kids come to the door, that if they didn't say trick or treat, she told them to say it! Ha Ha!

Mark's mom came over along with my aunt and her friend and we got the kids ready to go. It was a warm night with no wind, so the kids didn't have to put much on under their costumes.

Zack and I passed out candy while Mark and his mom took the the kids out.
